While Miry’s List helps refugees all over the United States, helping Afghan refugees is particularly to Metro Sessions. They are our neighbors! Nearly half of all Afghan people living in the United States live in California. Moreover, California has been the first state to openly welcome people fleeing Afghanistan during Taliban takeover.

Of course, moving to California is expensive and challenging under normal circumstances, much less these very traumatic ones. Afghan refugees are in need of support as they settle in, and Miry’s List does just that. Miry’s emergency action fund will focus on helping Afghan refugees wherever they settle, and our new neighbors here in California will receive that assistance. Help us help Miry help our new neighbors.
