XL Middleton – 2 Minutes til Midnight
If you didn’t hear this in LA in 2019, I’ll assume you didn’t get out to many SoCal g-funk nights. Wherever people were popping, cruising, and spinning, XL’s hot summer album was bumping. And not just here! XL and Moniquea took the modern funk sound abroad all year long, and you can see in the video “Where We About to Take It” for that the album was very well-received worldwide.
