Our impressive friend Roller8 put out fantastic releases from two other impressive artists, and the results have both been huge this year. Something sweet with a rubbery dub on the B side, the Megan Doherty 7″ sold itself everywhere where Roller8 appeared. Coming out a couple of months later, the Coco Street 12″ single was massive, giving us house, club, and disco bangers. Can’t wait to see RollerSoul 2020.
Force Placement – Vibe Repair
Pretty big year for our friend Force Placement, who got a full-length release from 100% Silk! Very dope. Plus, it’s great, filled with throbbing, potent electronic rhythms and deep bass. Plus, it’s a cassette? Very cool addition to your rave tape collection. (Wait, you have one of those? Hmu plz.)
